Eric Sichel, MD, MBA, Managing Director

Dr. Sichel is a Managing Director at 21 West Partners, focusing on New Product Development, Clinical Strategies and Product/ Company Financial Valuation.

Eric was most recently a healthcare analyst at Eastbourne Capital, a West Coast hedge fund. Previously, he was a biotechnology analyst at Omega Advisors & Emerald Asset Management. He started his Wall Street career as a biotechnology sell-side analyst at Alex Brown & Sons (now Deutsche Bank).

Eric’s pharmaceutical experience was primarily gained at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (now Novartis) where he held positions of growing responsibility in New Product Development. Eric was the Vice President of Business Strategy at Neose Technologies, served on the Board of Directors at Elite Pharmaceuticals and spent a summer in the international marketing division of Pfizer.

Eric received his M.D. from New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ), an M.B.A from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude).
